  We took our hiking poles with us, but because of the steel tracks, we actually hardly used it.
  
  We walked up to the summit, it took us around 2 hours to get up there. Less than 2 hours to get down to the lift chair.
  
  There were high school kids, elders, families and couples walking on the track.
  
  There are toilets up there.
  
  Everyone can walk on their own pace, so overall, it’s not too difficult.
  
  After a 13km walk, I did have sore legs.

  A very beautiful place to be engaged in a loads of activities. The best part of my trip was the view of snow covered hills and mountains at the section of Gooandra, Broken Dam and Kiandra when we were heading to Yarrangobilly from Jindabyne after having an amazing trip to the Ski-resorts at Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass.

  Hidden Gem! Great little walk from the Trout Farm to the main road following the Thredbo River.

  Make sure to read all posted signs and warnings. We drive an old corolla around and had no issue because we had our chains on.
  
  Be courteous on the road because you can easily misjudge the conditions and get into an accident.

  I'm glad I had the chance to enjoy it this autumn. The cable lifts and other amenities are well looked after. So many activities but we did the hiking, chairlifts and bobsled. Really beautiful landscape and paradise for those who love walking and hiking. Conquering Australia's peak is really rewarding. Wildlife and vegetation are very protected and pristine.
